If you wish to ski Banff, you will be surprised to know that it is the biggest town in Banff National Park in Alberta’s Rockies, Canada. At above four thousand feet, Banff has the second highest elevation in Canada. The top elevation in Canada is Lake Louise. Banff is a resort town and is popular to many tourists. It is plentiful of surrounding mountains and hot springs. In fact, it was the starting point of Canada’s National Park system with the naming of the “Rocky Mountain Park”.
There are several other activities to choose from other than to ski Banff. For example, extensive hiking, biking and scrambling are some of the numerous activities Banff offers. Today, Banff remains as one of the most popular tourist destinations in Canada. There are a number of mountains located in Banff such as Cascade Mountain, Mount Rundle and Mount Norquay. Sulphur Mountain is Banff’s most popular attractions because of its hot springs.
